Investment Advisor – Lisbon
The role
You will be a trusted point of contact for a portfolio of client families, working alongside our partners to translate each family's objectives into sharp, well-reasoned investment decisions. This is a client-facing role with real analytical depth – you will need to be as comfortable in a conversation about a family's priorities as you are in a portfolio review.
What you'll do
- Advise client families on asset allocation and investment selection across public and private markets
- Prepare and present portfolio reviews, including performance reporting and drafting investment proposals
- Monitor markets and holdings closely, and bring relevant insights to clients and the team
- Coordinate with external managers, custodians, banks and other third parties on behalf of clients
- Contribute to Otoma Group's investment research, due diligence and committee discussions
- Ensure all advice and documentation meet our regulatory and internal standards
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience in wealth management, private banking, asset management or a family office
- Strong understanding of multi-asset portfolios, including alternatives and private markets
- Excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese; additional languages a plus
- A relevant degree; CFA or equivalent qualification is an advantage
- Judgement, discretion and a genuine interest in the long-term interests of the families we serve
- Comfortable working in a focused team where you'll have real ownership
